Thank you for visiting my page! I hope you'll join me in supporting Drive Change, a really unique organization that builds and operates locally sourced food trucks that hire, teach and empower formerly incarcerated youth (16-25yrs).

Did you know that New York is one of two states that automatically arrests and prosecutes 16-year-olds as adults? Young people who are treated as adults in the criminal justice system face harsh punishments and often face hurdles to employment and education after their release. As a result, 70% of young people that have been incarcerated, end up back in the prison system after their release. Drive Change is working to change this. Drive Change has built its first beautiful and award-winning food truck, called Snowday, which serves delicious maple syrup-themed food made with ingredients sourced from local farms. The truck's employees are all fomerly incarcerated, and all employees receive a salary while participating in a re-entry program, which includes mentorship and skills training that will make them employable in the future. 24 young people a year go through this program a year!

I'm launching this campaign to raise funds for an organization that gives young people life-changing opportunities AND works in the community to advocate for criminal justice reform. I encourage you to watch the videos (Drive Change on NBC!) below - and to visit the Drive Change website to learn more.

Please join me in supporting this amazing organization!
